Student Projects

UTRGV students in Chemistry, Math, Physics, and CESL-Mexican American Studies courses present their family-centered research projects at the FIESTA Symposium held at the end of the fall and spring semesters.

The projects enrich the students' learning experience while covering the content learned in class. Students are encouraged to reach out to their own families to recover ancestral knowledge and make the projects personal and meaningful.
