Artist Statement
My first direct interaction with art was when I was in middle school as dancer, I was able to express my emotions through the art of my body and until now I believe it’s a great source of showmanship as an artist.During my first year in the university I decided to join the science degree however I was not really understanding and doing something that fulfills me, then I switched to Graphic Design and discovered that there are many ways to create art and there is really no right or wrong, it is just a way to a better understanding
When it comes to work, I start by putting everything on the table and little by little, I then remove pieces that do not need to be in my work and place them in their respective place or I may replace something needed in lieu something I already have, when facing a problem I ask questions, why is this a problem? Who needs to have clarification on this? Will it be favorable to others besides the main audience who is having problems with this? And from there I have a grasp on how to resolve these problems and prevent them from happening in the future. In order to execute this I must have patience and be willing to finish what I have started, that is,even if there are bumps on the road I will keep focusing on the end goal.
I would like for people to identify themselves through my art, that is, either they understand exactly the message I am trying to convey through my art or if they may have their own interpretation yet still knowing they are identified through my work. Despite the different opinions each of us may have many times, the end goal is the same, which is ultimately my main desire, to have everyone come together for a good cause.
