CHIMERA

A Greek mythical creature that is made up of three animals all meshed to create one. A lion’s body, the head of a goat and the tail that might end in a snake’s head all work together, in its own unbalanced harmony to strive forward. Much like the works featured in this senior art exhibit, Chimera is also used to describe anything composed of disparate parts or perceived as wildly imaginative, implausible, or dazzling. As students of graphic arts, we have come together to create an exhibit worthy of the name Chimera. It is an exhibit consisting of vastly differing styles, statements, and iterations of communication art. From different paths we have converged into one to bring into existence a chimera of a senior exhibit.
