Euphoria Bar

My Spring 2021 BFA Exhibition is a collection of my senior Graphic Design projects, and the culmination of my academic progress at UTRGV. My exhibit is based on the branding for a queer bar, titled Euphoria; the body of work is divided into three projects: the grand opening poster, the Cocktail menu design, and additional branding elements. I used two programs, Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop. The grand opening poster is an original photo, edited in Photoshop and then edited in Illustrator. The second project – the cocktail menu – is a combination of art and digital art. Notably, the watercolor splatters were hand drawn by me and passed digitally. Lastly, the branding elements were also digitally produced. All projects were published as mockups to give them a real-life feel. As a designer, I want to excel in providing a clear and focused identity to businesses and I believe that this project is a good and excellent example of my capabilities. More significantly, I believe that my project reflects my personality and queer identity, and is a demonstration that my designs can be inclusive, for all types of people and businesses.
