COINKY Coin Banks
The Origin of the Piggy Bank / 30” x 24” /This poster shows a brief history of how the piggy bank came to be.
For my exhibit project, I created a fictional coin bank company called COINKY. The creation of COINKY is inspired by my love for coin banks. My goal is to present the idea of coin banks as small sculptures that look aesthetically pleasing in a space but can still function as a bank to hold loose change. The overall aesthetic of the company is based on the retro and nostalgic feel of coin banks with a contemporary style. I have created 2 posters and a box mockup for this exhibition. The first poster is an informative timeline, filled with digital illustrations, telling the brief origin of the piggy bank. The second poster is an advertisement for COINKY promoting the coin banks with the tagline, Show Me the Money. My third design is a delivery box mockup accompanied by a stack of coins and a golden piggy bank.
Show Me the Money / 11” x 8.5” / This is a poster advertising the company by showing some of the piggy bank the company sells and pairing it with the catchy tagline, Show me the money!
COINKY Delivery Box / 8.5” x 11” / This mockup was created to show the delivery packaging box that customers would receive when they receive a COINKY coin bank order.
