My exhibit is about helping the community and becoming the change as individuals to truly make an impact to others. It is called Metanoia (Meta) which is linked to community service field locally, regionally, and soon expand for missionary positions on the national level. Metanoia is a word in Greek which means a transformation of mind and a change of heart to do the right thing and make the right decisions in the course of one’s life. Meta, in Spanish means goal. This exhibition introduces its work process in which people can help poor communities by donating money, clothes, food, toiletries, hygiene products and other needs. This program will first initiate locally. The statistics shown on the infographic poster demonstrate the poverty rate in the Rio Grande Valley and also offers solutions to become your own visionary and help somebody who needs resources. What I created to fulfill the vision of the exhibition is by creating a 24x30 main poster that briefly describes the meaning of “Meta”.
