Ozburrow

Ozburrow, my exhibition, is a comic of a fictional land created and centered around illustrated characters through mixed media. Posters were printed on glossy paper and T-shirts are made of cotton with ironed on color graphics. The overall demographic of my work is aimed towards older teens and younger adults focusing on the male audience but it's really for everybody. It was inspired by Dungeons & Dragons (D&D) culture as well as animation/cartoons of my childhood but with a mature spin. I am an avid fantasy fan and love the playstyle and feel of D&D. It offers a large and free rain of creativity and lets people write their own stories and create their own characters.

Ozburrow is a combination of my love for animation and the freedom of D&D. A fantasy setting adventure comic that reads and feels like your following along on a grand adventure. All the works displayed are meant to tie into one another. The “Prelude to Ozburrow” poster shows the female protagonist ready for a new adventure and her loyal uncle stands behind her as a guardian ready to give his life for hers. In “Ozburrow the adventure begins”, a comic style format shows the characters starting an adventure fighting fictional beasts. What follows is “Ozburrow Merch 1” a black cotton T-shirt proudly displaying the main characters in color. The physical media was meant to follow the path that traditional modern entertainment in crafting unique and stylized work for consumer consumption ment for all ages.
