House Night

When coming up with an idea for my exhibition, I knew I wanted to do something related to music and how it brings people together. I had several ideas in mind, but the one that stuck out the most to me was a nightclub. Visualizing the design that would go into creating a nightclub interested me and made me want to get started right away. Red Line is a nightclub that captures the madness of nightlife culture, while also creating a memorable atmosphere filled with design and art. It offers a new, exciting environment where people can go to enjoy themselves and indulge in dance culture. I was eager to start the design process because nightclubs give you the opportunity to be daring and carefree, and I wanted to display that through my exhibition.

My goal is to have someone look at my work and think, “I would love to check this place out one day.” Overall, I wanted to design a nightclub that would make you do a double take when walking past it. It is easy to feel overwhelmed when walking down a street with nightclub after nightclub and most of them end up getting lost among each other. Red Line will make you stop dead in your tracks. I wanted to focus on the advertisement aspect by designing multiple promotional flyers capturing the atmosphere that Red Line will offer once you step foot inside. Design is what drives attention and traffic and will be Red Line’s strongest component.
