Artist Statement
All throughout elementary school my favorite elective was art and as I grew my love for art did as well. My interest in graphic design started when I noticed how many cool posters there were and wanted to be able to make something like them. I want my work to be an escape from the stress of adulthood. With bright colors and joyful designs, I hope to create a sense of nostalgia for a time when we had little to worry about. When it comes to starting a new project, paper and pencils are the way to go! No matter how messy the sketches are, getting a rough idea of the direction you’re going is priceless. Overall, I want my work to give people a smile.
