Artist Statement
Hello! My name is Eduardo, but you can call me Eddie. Growing up I never expected to study and work in graphic design. I had always been interested in art but never sought to pursue it, and it wasn’t until I started university that I found excitement in digital art. I fell in love with illustrations and the process behind creating anything in the realm of graphic design.
One of my favorite graphic designers that I have looked up to for a while now, is Shepard Fairey. He is a jack of all trades when it comes to art and design, from being a street artist to also crafting graphic design. I have come to deeply admire his contemporary digital art style and has inspired me to pursue it.
I hope that whatever it is I create as an artist inspires others who are searching for a way to express their beliefs, emotions, or ideas and for them to use art as an outlet as well. I think there is something beautiful in finding something you are passionate about and using art to express it and share it with others. That is what I love doing the most.
Whether you like making music, painting, filming, or anything else you must always bet on yourself and pursue whatever it is you love doing. If I only had one message to say to the whole world, it would
be that.
