Wicked
Candles and witchcraft have always interested me. The two, of course, go hand in hand. So, I created Wicked Wix. Wicked Wix offers spell candles that are crafted with intention and are ready to use. No need to add any herbs to the candles, they already have the necessary herbs for the intentions of the candle.
The logo was created in Adobe Illustrator and did a few variations of it until I was happy with the result. The idea for the logo came from this thought that hands are one of the most powerful tools for a witch. The label design is inspired by old apothecary labels and the general dark nature witch aesthetic or forest witch.
The packaging for the brand consists of labels for candles and shipping boxes, which were created in Adobe Illustrator as well. The posters were designed in InDesign with some elements created in Photoshop and Illustrator.
The reason I did this project was because I wanted to gain more education on packaging design and to create something with witchy elements. I studied a lot of packaging design, fonts, book covers, and informational posters to get ideas for the project.
