Artist Statement
Hi, I'm Jaquelin. Graphic design has been an interest of mine for a long while. I liked the combination of art and technology to create different works. I've learned a lot of designing skills during my time at UTRGV. I plan to continue learning and improve even more on my designs as time progresses. I believe that graphic design will always continue to grow and change. New ideas will always be open to me.
In my work, communication is key, it is important to be able to connect, inspire and give. I learned that it is not a “one-way road”, but multiple required skills put all togetherto create designs.My work is open to different styles, it makes it a fun challenge to try out different views in design. I enjoy the creativity that is necessary to make the artwork, but I have also learned that certain knowledge about design is required to make it professional work.I take the time that is necessary to think of how a project will be designed andof its outcome.Seeing it from different perspectives always helps freshen up the way we view the work and improve it.
