Robert Hower is an eminent academic figure, having held the position of Chair and
Professor Emeritus of Art and Art History at the University of Texas at Arlington. During his
tenure as Chair from 2005 to August 2019, the department experienced remarkable growth,
with undergraduate majors surging from 450 to over 800. Notable achievements include the
successful launch of an MFA program, now nationally recognized for its four distinct
research tracks.

Beyond academia, Robert's influence extends into the world of art. His work has graced
prestigious exhibitions across the globe, including renowned institutions such as the China
Central Academy of Fine Arts in Beijing, Glasgow School of Art in Scotland, and the
Liechtenstein National Museum. His artistic creations have earned their place in esteemed
collections, including the Minnesota Museum of American Art, the MONA Museum of
Nebraska Art, and the Central Academy of Art in Beijing.

Moreover, Robert actively engages in presenting and participating in interactive projects at
renowned institutions and conferences worldwide, sharing his expertise in the field of art
and art history. His collaboration with prominent organizations and companies, including the
U.S. National Park Services, The Nature Conservancy, and Warner Brothers, has made
