Artist Statement
Art has been a big part of my life, like many I was introduced to it as a young kid. It all started with tv shows and movies that my brother would show us, and although it started as just a couple of drawings eventually, I came to realize that the works of media started with one thing. The covers, posters, logos, anything that is designed by an artist hired to produce what will ultimately catch the eye of the viewer. I looked at VHS boxes quite a lot, as a kid a single picture can say a lot. Thus, my philosophy came to exist, I want to create art designs that will make anyone look at it at least more than once or twice. Whether is a show, movie, or music I want people to feel like they’ve been treated into a whole artistic experience. The way I will accomplish this is by learning from past graphic works; Whether they’re bad or good both can teach you a lot, I will create fun, creative, yet still connected artworks to its specific property.
