Artist Statement
I have been artistically inclined since childhood, making me accustomed to thinking about many ideas and executing them as rough drafts on paper. Because of this, my design process starts by making lots of sketches and exploring different ways things can be placed within the design. I believe that there is no sketch that is trash, so I save everything just in case I get stuck further down the process. I like to look back to my older sketches and often get inspired by something from them or take an idea and bring it in to my current projects/designs to solve problems. By combining both beautifully designed illustrations and short text, I have found that I tend to feel more artistically creative when I am working on something that I love or have great interest in.
