Artist Statement
Before getting into graphic design, I was lost in terms of what I wanted for my future. I had lived my life without the inherent desire to live “The American Dream” of becoming rich and successful and/or famous. I did not know what I wanted for myself other than the happiness I brought myself and others around me through my art.
Creating art for the sake of making people happy rather than for something like fame appeals to me. I liked the idea of creating popular medias but still have a sense of anonymity. I resonate with the fact that art is for people. For yourself, for others, for a message to the world.
I want to work on making designs that give people a sense of happiness and involve them into having just as much fun consuming media as I would have creating it. I wish to make art more inclusive to even the people who do not think they have a place in an artistic community and be able to share that joy to them.
