Artist Statement
My name is Crystal Morales, growing up I tried a little bit of every medium you can think of. First it was drawing, painting, sculpting, and crocheting. By the time I was in high school they put me in an animating class by accident, and instead of trying to get out of it I gave it a try. This made me want to know more about the digital world, so after animation class was over, I took a graphic design class. This is where I knew that a place without graphic design would be like going to a different country, and not knowing where places are. The world around us would be dull and boring without a little color and text. After having seen what the digital world has to offer, I decided to become a graphic designer and make it a lifestyle. I ‘m really trying to research new methods that would help me improve my work. I want to explore new possibilities and styles of art that I can make my own.
