Artist Statement
Art has always been a part of my life. My father is a musician and my mother is a photographer and a painter. Having them as parents meant my household was always full of art and creativity. Growing up, I was the designated Graphic Designer making birthday cards for my family and friends, flyers for any school or family event, etc. While I did study Graphic Design, I also enjoy Illustration and I can say that Graphic Design is at its best when illustration is incorporated into it. I do believe in the power that good Graphic Design and Illustration combined can have on people and you can see how I try to achieve this in my work.
