Wolfpack Apparel
Wolfpack Apparel is a clothing brand I designed to inspire and to entertain. I’m inspired by streetwear and Japanese influences. When creating this clothing brand I wanted to make something sharp and dark. I was inspired by Japanese anime and artistic influences in my personal life. However my clothing is not meant to represent my ideas, I wanted to represent an attitude with my clothing designs. I want the wearer to appear confident and striking. If this attitude resonates with you then this clothing is meant for you.
Wolfpack apparel is inspired by my teenage years and the media I consumed during that time. I was inspired by a lot of celebrity fashion and trending streetwear designs during the late 2010s. As a designer, I’ve always loved darker themes when it comes to fashion design. I wanted to explore ways to portray my Japanese and video game influences in my work. The designs aren’t necessarily meant to be meaningful, they’re meant for more of an aesthetic purpose. The font style is inspired by metal bands and rock music. Ironically enough, I love the style of the text but I don’t actually listen to any metal or rock music. The style of this work contrasts my personality a lot. It’s very dark and intimidating, in contrast, I am a very friendly and bright person. This project allowed me to explore a different perspective than what I’m used to and connect with a new audience.
