Fear Film

Scary movies is a conflicting genre either someone really love or avoid at all costs. Logically, people should be running away from scary things. However, horror movies have a way of drawing a lot of people in. It's a little confusing but it is oddly comforting. I learn the strange can be beautiful. I believe this amazement contributed to my decision to design this project. I base this theater on the seasonal horror attractions, such as Universal’s Horror Nights. As it exhibits maximum creepiness, it brings excitement among people to come and have a nice time. I love how fear brings out the natural characteristics of a person. I design the Fear Film theater branding with the creepy factor but a semi-minimalistic style to attract the eye. I tend to manipulate images and mesh them together to create one piece of work. I made it a point to keep every object in a empty space. The empty space is for the main objects to be the main focus, so there is nothing that will distract the viewers. Another use for the empty space is bring in the eeriness of the atmosphere. I believe this approach for the theater’s brand can keep people crawling back for more.
