Artist Statement
There are moments in life where we cross paths with people who change our lives. Through their words, through their actions − they inspire, they make us question, they make an impression. And that is what I hope to achieve with my work. I hope to make work that exists for others and entices a second glance. My name is Yadira Hernandez, and I am a graphic designer.
I believe good graphic design is about creating aesthetically pleasing work that is also practical. From research to visualization, I try to explore unique solutions to solve problems, tell stories, and inspire people. The solutions I have discovered have caused my work to be a mixture of both traditional and digital art mediums.
