Artist Statement
My name is Daniel, and I am a Graphic Designer, though I have dabbled in studio art throughout my college years. In my elementary years, I have mostly been the artistic kid in my class, and I had pride in that title. In my time in middle school, an art teacher had pushed me to enter an art competition, though not at first, I agreed to compete and thus started my most ambitious attempt on an art piece. I had gone through a few color pencils by the time I finished. Though I was unsatisfied from the made mistakes I made, I won first place. To this day, I still have it hanging on my wall as a reminder to do better, despite the winning first. For me, what makes art great is not just the approval of others, but that I am satisfied with it myself. I have worked with Adobe programs, and I have also learned other studio art forms. I am eager to learn more ways to create art, be it 3D design or making pottery, I hope to broaden my skills as an artist.
