The Bachelor of Science in Integrated Health Sciences (BSIHS) is a 120 Hour program designed to prepare graduates to obtain an entry-level position as a health science professional ready to work in a variety of places including: Community Health Agencies, Business and Educational Organizations, Public Health Departments, Nursing Homes, Retirement Residences, Home Health Agencies, Wellness/Fitness Centers, Schools, Hospitals, Medical Group Practices, Insurance Companies, Alcohol/Drug Treatment Programs and others.
The BSIHS serves as the academic foundation for competitive undergraduate healthcare pathways within the Division of Health Affairs. These programs require a secondary admission application and include:
Lastly, this is a dynamic program that can be used to fulfill the requirements for most health-related professional graduate programs. Students will earn a bachelor's and have the flexibility within the major to complete most, if not all the prerequisite requirements for admission to many health-related professional graduate programs including PA, OT, PT, Medicine, dentistry, and more.
