The Aaronson and Ramirez Libraries are regularly staffed during the hours below. The libraries will operate with reduced hours and staffing during holidays and University closures. Please see the holiday schedule below for a full schedule.

After-hours Access Policy
Entry beyond regular hours requires an ID card. Users in the libraries after hours may be asked to verify their affiliation with the School of Medicine or School of Podiatric Medicine. Compliance with the library’s policies and procedures, as well as applicable institutional policies, is mandatory.
Aaronson Library: Students and residents of the UTRGV School of Medicine have 24/7/365 ID card access.
Ramirez Library: Students and residents of the UTRGV School of Medicine and School of Podiatric Medicine have 24/7/365 ID card access.
To request swipe-access to facilities, medical students should contact the SOM Office of Student Affairs and podiatry students should contact the SOPM Office of Students Affairs.
