Summer Programs

Summer Bridge to Calculus Program
The summer bridge to Calculus program is for students majoring in Engineering and Computer Science. We are targeting students who have taken Calculus in high school but not received college credit for it, and students who have taken and passed high school pre-calculus but again have not received college credit. Students should have passed the TSI Assessment but are not qualified for the Calculus 1 course. The program will be a course in Summer 2, students will receive an individualized course emphasizing their prior experience and will result in them transitioning to a Calculus 1 course for the Fall semester. All associated costs will be covered. There is limited seating and the Application Deadline is May 19, 2017. Below are the program details and information. Please have interested students contact me Denise De Los Santos at denise.delossantos@utrgv.edu or via phone at 956-665-7257 or our program director Dr. Virgil Pierce via email at virgil.pierce@utrgv.edu.
