Telephone Services: Purchasing a Conference Phone
Note: When ordering an IP phone, please contact Telephone Services (956-665-7155) first to confirm if you will need to purchase a power supply and a power cord because some buildings may not have power over the Ethernet.
- Login to myUTRGV.
- Click on iShop under Applications.
- Click on the Telephone Services Request Form that is located under Procurement Management Forms Showcased Services.
- Fill out the Department Contact Information
- Enter your Department in the the Department Name field.
- Enter your Name in the Requestor's Name field.
- Enter your Phone number (where you can be reached) in the Requestor's Phone Number field.
- Enter the building and room number where the conference phone is to be installed in the Bldg/Room of phone installation field.
- Enter the reason for purchasing a conference phone in the Purchase Explanation field.
- Selection Instructions-
- Choose the conference phone to be installed: Note: if the conference phone is to be used in conferences with more than 5 people, it is recommended to purchase the Polycom Expansion Mics
- Polycom IP 6000 Conference Phone
- Note: if the conference phone is to be used in conferences with more than 5 people, it is recommended to purchase the Polycom Expansion Mics
- Choose the conference phone to be installed: Note: if the conference phone is to be used in conferences with more than 5 people, it is recommended to purchase the Polycom Expansion Mics
- Enter the quantity of conference phones and expansions mics to be purchased in the Quantity box for each respective item.
- Select Add and go to Cart in the Available Actions field located on the top, right-hand side of the page
- Click Go.
- Review your cart
- Click Proceed to Checkout or Assign Cart.
