Remote Wipe Device if Lost or Stolen (Active Sync)

To remote wipe device if lost or stolen (Active Sync):

  1. Connect to the UTPA Outlook Web Access site as https://outlook.utpa.edu from any Internet connected computer
  2. Enter your UTPA user name and password and click Sign In
  3. In the upper right hand corner click Options
  4. Select See All Options....
  5. From the menu on the left hand side select Phone
  6. Under the Device column select the device you wish to wipe
  7. From the menu above click Wipe Device
  8. A warning message will appear. If you wish to continue wiping the device select Yes, otherwise select No.

**WIPING YOUR DEVICE WILL REMOVE THE ABILITY TO UTILIZE ANY TRACKING FEATURES SUCH AS FIND MY IPHONE, FIND MY IPAD OR LOOKOUT MOBILE FOR ANDROID AND SHOULD ONLY BE USED WHEN ALL OPTIONS FOR RECOVERY HAVE BEEN EXHAUSTED.
