Committee Meetings for AY 2024-2025
The Graduate Committee and the Undergraduate Committee will meet separately once a month via the Microsoft Teams platform. The Graduate Committee will meet on the first Friday from 10 a.m. to noon. The Undergraduate Committee will meet the second Friday of every month from 9 to 11 a.m. The schedule of meetings has been adjusted to account for university holidays as needed. The last meeting date to present revisions to existing programs and courses is February of 2025. Changes to graduate programs will be implemented in catalog 2025-2026. Changes to undergraduate programs will not be published until catalog 2026-2027.

Proposals are accepted on a rolling basis; however, only proposals received on the first day of the month will be considered for the subsequent month’s agenda. Programs with non-substantive changes will be placed on the most immediate agenda. Programs with substantive changes will be placed on an agenda only after pending questions/issues have been resolved. To ensure the earliest consideration of a proposal, proposers are encouraged to seek assistance from Curriculum Managers in the Office of Curriculum and Institutional Assessment.
The submission, review, and approval timeline begins with initiation of the proposal by the faculty and is followed by the reviews or approvals below:
- Review by OCIA staff for completeness and clarity.
- Review and approval by the Department Chair. If applicable, the Department Chair will attach documentation of department committee approval.
- Review and approval by the College Committee (if applicable). If applicable, the Committee Chair will attach documentation of department committee approval.
- Review and approval by the College Dean. College dean approval must be completed at least one week prior to a committee meeting.
- Review by OCIA staff to place on the meeting agenda.
- Graduate or Undergraduate Committee review and approval.
- Post-committee final review for the catalog by OCIA staff.
- Provost review and approval.
