Student Leadership Academy
Emerging Leader Certificate
Our Emerging Leader Certificate is founded on the ideas presented in the Social Change Model of Leadership that was initiated in 1994 by the Higher Education Research Institute (UCLA). The Model was created in an attempt to amalgamate various leadership concepts. The program will be divided into 3 separate values outlined by the model:
- Individual values
- Community Values
- Group Values
This program is ideal for students interested in inciting long-lasting change in their organization, community, or the world. This program will provide participants the opportunity to look introspectively at their own approaches to leadership.
