Spirit Week
During Spirit Week we want to celebrate how proud we are to be UTRGV. This year we will be offering opportunities to become involved in various school spirit activities.
Don’t worry! We understand your well-being is important. There will be chances to show your UTRGV Pride in our virtual events as well!
Throughout the week you can expect opportunities to participate in a dance competition, upload your pride photos to UTRGV Social Media Pages, in person and virtual athletic events, DIY activities and the chance to win limited edition promo items throughout the week as thanks for your participation.

Wednesday's Events
We Wear Orange on Wednesdays! Show off your school spirit by wearing your favorite ORANGE UTRGV t-shirt or gear.
Post your pictures on Instagram and tag @utrgvstudentactivities and @theherdyall using #UTRGVSpiritWeek2021.
4 lucky students will selected to receive a Spirit Grab Bag from the Spirit Program.
Join the Student Union on Wednesday, October 27 and get into spirit week by decorating your tote bag with UTRGV stencils.

Supplies will be provided for free to UTRGV students with a Valid UTRGV Student ID.

Friday's Events
Join the Spirit Program and Student Activities for a spooky good time. This year's block party has been turned into a TRUNK OR TREAT for little and big kids alike.
Stop by the Fieldhouse Parking Lot (E16) at the Edinburg campus and visit with departments, student organizations, friends to UTRGV and get an early start on Halloween weekend.
Fun games, Prizes, Costume Contest and Music.

Don't miss the most exciting athletic events of the school year! Bring your friends to #UTRGVMadness on Friday, Oct. 29 at the UTRGV Fieldhouse as we close out Spirit Week with a bang!
The night introduces our UTRGV men’s and women’s basketball teams and feature a student organization dance. There will be plenty of music, prizes, and GLOW!
