Where I am now:
As of September 2023, I am completing my final undergraduate year at UTRGV and expect to graduate in May 2024 with a Bachelor of Science in Biology. I am currently an active member of the Empowering Future Agricultural Scientists (EFAS) program through a year-long internship at Texas A&M AgriLife Research Center in Weslaco, Texas. I am very grateful to be a member of the EFAS program has enabled me to gain valuable research experience which would not have been possible had I not been a member of the program. I am certain that the technical and research skills I have learned through the program will be of great use moving forward as a graduate.
