Where I am now:

As of May 2024, I am an undergraduate Bioenvironmental Science Major. I currently work part-time at the Plant Pathology and Microbiology labs as well as part-time at the Wheat lab for Agrilife extension. I am blessed to be a junior under my hours classification but will technically be a senior next semester. Through working with the PLPM lab, I have begun to make connections that have helped me learn more about microbiology, genetics, and horticulture. I hope to continue after my undergraduate years to work as either a master’s or doctorate student, researching plant pathology and horticulture practices that could level up sustainable agriculture in the future.
