Short biography:
I was given the opportunity to take part in the TACFSA program as a student in 2018 and trained to do research at the TAMUK Citrus Center, and from theremany opportunities have presented for me. The first was my previous position, just months after graduating with my bachelor's degree even though I was inexperienced leading a team. the opportunity to continue developing my leadership skills as a co-mentor for another student intern with the EFAS program in 2021. As I reflect on everything I have learned and struggled with, the most important thing for me is the fact that I can say that I have found my vocation and genuinely enjoy what I do.
