Adopt a Startup

Adopt a Startup has collaborated with the UTRGV Entrepreneurship and Commercialization Center, the eBridge Center for Business and Commercialization, the College of Engineering and Computer Science, and the College of Science to offer its program to clients, incubator members, and engineering/agricultural teams. This initiative empowers students and entrepreneurs from underrepresented backgrounds to pursue humane, sustainable entrepreneurship. Participants receive training and support to develop solutions for local businesses, with a strong focus on sustainability. The program fosters entrepreneurial spirit, collaborative research, transdisciplinary teamwork, communication, leadership, decision-making, self-management, and professionalism, enhancing the Entrepreneurship Ecosystem in the Rio Grande Valley and beyond.
