UTRGV APEX Accelerator

The UTRGV APEX Accelerator, formerly the Procurement Technical Assistance Center (PTAC), provides technical services through training and one-on-one counseling to people interested in obtaining contracts with local, state, and federal government entities. APEX Accelerator also assists companies in obtaining state and federal certifications and understanding the contracting process.

Mission:
The mission of The University of Texas Rio Grande Valley APEX Accelerator program is to serve as the axis for new and existing businesses to strengthen the defense industrial base by accelerating innovation, fostering ingenuity, and establishing resilient and diverse supply chains.

Vision:

To build a diverse and resilient domestic industrial base that can deliver preeminent solutions to the military and other government users.

The APEX Accelerator is funded in part through a cooperative agreement with the Department of Defense.

Client Requirements
