Crossroads of Creation: Where Stories, Arts, and Communities Meet

The Festival of International Books and Arts (FESTIBA) promotes the importance of literacy, culture, and the arts to students, parents, educators, and community members throughout the Rio Grande Valley.

This year's theme, Crossroads of Creation: Where Stories, Arts, and Communities Meet, explores how ideas, traditions, languages, and creative come together to inspire dialogue, collaboration, and discovery.  Embracing the rich culture of our binational, bicultural, and bilingual region, the theme invites audiences to engage with artists, authors, performers, and one another as active participants in the creative process. Through shared experiences, we celebrate the connections that enrich our communities and shape who we are.
